Final Damage ( English Version )

    Sometimes, if someone told you to use full final damage but you dont know how it works... do you still ok with that? Ahahaha, sorry for the bad english. I don't use any translation machine or programs, so give me mercy if something wrong with the words ~_~. Well talking about final damage if you read other guides, you will see many graphics. Don't worry we won't talk abou the graphics. Lets talk the common question about final damage, how it works with our damage and comparing plate with 3rd Final damage and 3rd Attack.

  

   Lets talk about Final Damage ( FD ) using the common class who usually use this, thats right its Saleana or Pyromancer in other version of Dragon Nest.

   Lets say, we have an Elemental Lord ( EL ) and the name of the girl is HaakuChan. In level 50, she have 7000 magic attack / 32% fire attack / and 50% Final Damage. Let's analize one of the most popular skill of the class, yes its Fireball!

Fireball 

    Lets calculate the board damage :

1. HaakuChan cast a fireball, her magic attack have bonus 17.874 magic attack when use this skill.
2. Her total magic attack when using fireball is 24874.
3. Her magic attack multiplied by 536% became  133.324 damage.
4. Fireball is a fire magic ( you dont say? ) so her 133.324 damage will get bonus 32% from fire attack.
5. Fireball's damage is  175.987.
6. Because she have 50% FD, so the damage became 263.981.
7. And if the attack hit the critical rate, her damage will be 527.963

     And then the case continue, HaakuChan have extra gold ( dont know from where hush hush LOL ) and she confused about buying plate with 3rd FD or 3rd Magic Attack. Very common isn't it? If HaakuChan buy the level 50's 3rd FD plate, in state of 50% damage then she will have about 6% extra final damage. In this case, the process in number 6 will have extra 6% more damage.

    What if HaakuChan buy the magic attack plate that add 85 more magic attack. Then we need to re-calculate the boar damage from the beginning ( Oh my God... ) :

1. Basic magic attack become 7085.
2. Process number 2, magic attack became 24959.
3. Process number 3, became  133780
4. Process number 5, became  176589
5. Process number 6,  became  264884
6. Process number 7, became 529769 damage.

Comparison between build with FD dan magic attack are :

1. Add level 50 plate with FD will give her 6% more damage.
2. Add level 50 magic attack plate will give her ( 529,7k - 527,9k =  1,8k damage and 1,8k damage adalah 0,3% from 527,9K damage ) extra 0,3% damage.

   So,you can see the main reason why many EL choose their build with FD. Because stacking FD is more effective than stacking magic attack. This main idea come from when I do boosting with lowbies in Dark Tower Magic Institue. When I just do Fireball to the spyder queen, the damage is between 425k - 450k ( 6600 maximum magic attack, 20% fire, 87% FD, 11.200 crit ). Then I took cheese with 50% more attack, the damage only increase only 525k-575k damage. Doesn't make any sense isn't it? Increasing your magic attack by 50% doesnt increase your overall damage to 50%, and not even close to 50%.

What About non - EL?

     From that calculation, we might say that FD is the most effective build for all job. True, but not the most efficient from your wallet's view. Sorry I might too lazy to do calculation about other job, but the main idea is we can guessing what kind of build we must do to our job. Just simple, try to read the plus damage in the end of skills's board damage percentage ( see the yellow circle ). If you bonus is higher than your basic magic attack/ physical attack ( and even more than 2 times higher ), your char is definitely better try to stack FD than attack. Because stacking 200 - 500 attack won't make a big differences. But if your attack is below the plus of your most damaging skills ( except ultimate ~_~ ), you better try to stacking your attack first and use FD build with the minimum cost.

Look the board's damage, HaakuChan is good to go with FD.

Yep, thats pingpongbomb damage's board. The bonus attack is under her actual  standard attack ( about 5500-6500 in level 50 ). How we make this char efficient? Its very simple! Stack your attack, you can use L grade weapons +11 or +12 and use epic armors which give you FD bonus. Use set accessories which gave FD set or use skill accessories if your char is the must +1 skills bearer ( example Swordman, Merce, Bowmaster, etc ). Use ultimate plate and the rest you can put attack or main stat in 3rd plates. Of course that is the most efficient, yet not the most effective. You can keep your damage's quality meanwhile it won't burn your wallet and ass into dust.

Best Build?

  Wanna know what the best build, yes the most effective and efficient ? Ignore the gold, Use all plates with 3rd FD of the latest level. Use armors which give you the best FD bonus. Use L-Grade weapons of latest nest. And use skill acc or L-Grade accs.

Special Note:

   Yes if you read carefully, you can make a list the job which have a great bonus damage behind their board's damage. Top three is Elemental Lord, Dancer, and Mercenaries. Well you know, but the build will depends your wallet. But you playing DN for fun, and become under-geared and under damage isn't fun either ~_~. At least, try to make your dream come true. Try the FD build, do hardcore farming if you aren't cash user. I hope you will have a great luck !
